lots more

Okay, I've got yet another post chock full o' random pix. V & I are just all over the place these days! Annnd that also means trying to catch nice photos is a bit difficult. So enjoy the semi-jank quality photos and the cute quality girl.

two eves

Violet's not the only one who's very excited when "DADDY RED CAR" turns onto our street each evening. I love the quality time I get with Violet during the mornings and afternoons, but when the three of us are together, everything's just so much better (and easier).

I LOVE that we can spend so much time outside now. To the people who are like "boohoo it's really hot todayyy": THIS IS WHAT YOU WANTED LIKE ONE MONTH AGO WHEN IT WAS SNOWING. Also: deal with it. *End of rant* But seriously, I think that despite a few chilly rainy days, the majority of the past month has been wonderful. Come on, haters, remember when there was like a solid two and a half weeks of 70ish degree weather?

Fantastic weather to play "Tunnel".

What's "Tunnel", you may ask?

This, obviously.

Meanwhile, Zooey enviously looks on.

Another evening we went to Lillie Park. We just like to stroll around the lake and watch the fish.

And maybe entice them over with pieces of stale bread.

We were all EWW GEESE UGHH and then like a second later we were like OOOH A BABY LET'S GET REALLY CLOSE TO THAT ADORABLE GEESE FAMILY.

Oftentimes we stay out until it's time to get V ready for bed. And then oftentimes there might be a huge sigh of relief as I close her bedroom door... [aka, FREEEDOOOOMMMM]

busy bees

Violet and I have had a full schedule of activities lately. Here V is showing off her stamp that she got at the story & song time at the library.

Ink on her arms just like mommy.

The Farmer's market is kind of my Wednesday go-to place.

This little girl was being awfully mischievous that day.

It was wonderful to eat some asparagus for dinner that was freshly picked that morning.

We always take a look around the Kerrytown shops too. A little story for you: right after this we had to do a quick diaper change in the bathroom, and there was a little girl and her mom in there too. The girl was playing around and turned off the light, and the mom didn't see her do it so she didn't know where the switch was. Meanwhile, V & I are in there in the pitch blackness while the mom is freaking out trying to find the light switch and Violet is exclaiming "TOO DARK TOO DARK!"

After we weathered that storm we shared (aka she ate hers and then some of mine too) some food at the Broken Egg down the street.

Later on she worked on her watercolor skills.

Speaking of which, she's been getting better and better in painting class... at being okay with her hands getting paint on them. Heh.

This is serious growth, you guys.

She decorating some Mothers day cards for some of the moms in our family as well as one of our friends whose daughter Violet just adores.

Violet drew cute little pictures of them.

Violet helped Uncle Tom blow out all those candles. She lovesss birthdays.

Us snuggling in Mommy's big bed.

that's where i want to be yeaaahhh

THIS SHOW WAS AWESOME. Kitten ROCKED IT and Paramore was incredible (duh).

Getting through traffic took longer than I'd like... There was a Tigers game across the street, which I could have watched from the roof of the parking structure. I kinda had better things to do though. Okay, back to the fun!

One minute concert for you featuring snippets of three songs and terrible audio quality!

One last little video featuring... Confetti cannons! Hayley! Mike & me rocking out being dorks!

The sheen of sweat and big smile = awesome show in which I jumped around a lot.
