market & lollipops

I really love this place. It's a such a cool space filled with all these local vendors selling mostly handmade and vintage stuff.

"ELEPHANT", said Violet.

Person over loudspeaker: "If you like mariachi and you like punk, Pancho Villa's Skull will be performing at 2:00". Apparently this guy is the frontman to such a band.

We thought V might like to listen for a bit. She enjoyed a little treat too.

PS: this is from the first time we went to the Rust Belt Market- Violet ate a lollipop then too! This is one of my absolute favorite pix by the way.

hmmm... I wouldn't have thought mariachi and punk would go together nicely... who knew

now wouldn't you think that Ann Arbor would be the kind of town to have something exactly like that, with all those artists and vendors in one building?

but alas, it does not. sad. hopefully one day!

anne- haha, seriously!

c- i knowwww. the thing is, it's a big space (it was an old navy), and it's def hard to find a space like that unoccupied downtown that could be affordable, i'm sure. but still! ypsi? seems perfect for our area.
