I really needed these past few days. For some reason (probably because it's just her personality, really) Violet has been so so happy and snuggly and giggly. I can't even explain how much a hug and (licky) kiss from my baby girl can turn a sad mood into a joyful moment, or how going and looking at her sleeping can calm down my anxiety and give me contented peace. She is such a gift.
And doesn't she have the cutest little baby behind? I just wanna reach in this photo and pinch it.

yes, that little moment in the evenings when you check in on them before going to bed. watching them smile in their sleep, their funny little noises...pure bliss.
