in a holidaze (part 1)


'Tis the season to finally post some Christmas photos. Remember when snowy weather was considered "magical" as opposed to "annoying"? Well back in those days, Mike, Violet, and I did some holiday celebrating with his family, my family, and on our own. Here are a few pics. Baby's first Christmas!












Stay tuned for New Year's photos! And since I'm on the subject of holidays, isn't today Groundhog's Day? I know there's something about winter and seeing a shadow or not seeing a shadow... Based on the current state of winter, however, he must've not only looked at his shadow, but then on his way back to the hole gotten hit by a car after which the dismembered groundhog parts were then eaten by a pack of wolves. Sooo that means 8 more years of winter!

cute photos! :) that snow globe is possibly the best christmas decoration ever. well, a close second to reindeer head. both are gloriously kitchy and wonderful.
